The Hospital Assistant II for the CT Section is responsible for aiding in CT room preparation, patient transport and workflow management. This includes stocking supplies, assisting with patient movement, and preparing Power Injectors. The role involves utilizing the Radiology Information System, maintaining a clean work environment and rotating through imaging locations while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
Salary Range: $22.65 - $29.92 Hourly
Qualifications- BLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required
- High School Diploma – required
- Experience in the medical field, computer hospital information systems – preferred
- Ability to respond efficiently to expressed needs of referring services, physicians and patients
- Understands the requirement of EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act)
