Manufacturing Engineer As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be monitoring the quality and safety of manufacturing processes and generating efficient workflows. Supporting yield improvement initiatives, product disposition, continuous improvement projects, assembly procedure development, and process & equipment validations. Researching new ideas and technologies to integrate advanced manufacturing techniques and tooling in manufacturing, leading in improvements in safety, quality, and cost. You will be responsible for new product introduction, process development, mistake proofing, process failure mode analysis, measuring system analysis, design reviews and providing input on design for manufacturing.
Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality and safety of manufacturing procedures.
• Develop, implement, and monitor production processes.
• Execute process validations and write technical reports
• Oversee and assess current manufacturing workflows and yields and identify areas for improvement.
• Support and lead continuous improvement activities working with all levels of the organization.
• Troubleshooting of the problems with existing processes or equipment
• Benchmarking of similar operations and driving standardization
• Completing time studies to determine production capacity.
• Evaluation of non-conformances, determine the root cause, develop, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Develop tooling, fixtures, and automation of processes

More about you:

• BS Mechanical Engineering or related Science
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a manufacturing engineer in the medical device industry.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing workflows and operations
• Knowledgeable of drafting and properly formatting of engineering drawings.
• Ability to comprehend complex concepts and identify lacks and problems
• Robust analytical and organizational skills
• Knowledge of AutoCAD software and Lean Six Sigma, nice to have
