Essential Job Functions
- Supplements faculty work with students across all elements of specific applied initiatives, including, coaching through specific project work, application of research to resolve business issues, and development of presentations/reports
- Infuses industry knowledge of current tools and techniques onto project-based work and assists in training students on their application
- Champions an industry perspective on teamwork and collaboration with students
- Collaborates with faculty to coach students through industry-ready professional deliverables including, analyses and reporting
- Demonstrates the potential career trajectories within the industry and discusses these opportunities with students
- Consults on all aspects of current industry standards for marketing and provides the department with ideas on how to adapt to the industry changes
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or a combination of education/certification(s) and/or experience suitable for the position
- Moderate amount of experience working in a broad range of marketing and advertising
- Successful candidates must be committed to working effectively with diverse student populations
- Ability to work on-campus weekdays, some evenings and occasionally on the weekend, as needed
Please Note:
Qualified candidates must live or relocate within a daily commuting distance of the Providence Campus location upon hire.
