Position Overview:
Provides clerical support to the Supervisors and Program Manager by doing a variety of clerical and administrative duties as assigned, including timesheets, for the department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma, associate’s degree preferred.
2. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in an office setting.
3. Must have knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
4. Must have excellent clerical abilities.
5. Must have outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, sensitively, and compassionately.
6. Current driver’s license, good driving record, reliable transportation.
7. Valid auto registration and insurance.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Assist newly admitted clients/families, with input from the case manager.
2. Is available by phone or in person for employees to discuss their role with patients/families.
3. Acts as liaison for the Program.
4. Collects and compiles submission of Daily Logs and Adult Day Care Reports.
5. Participates as a member of the team, and attend other staff meetings, as appropriate.
6. Assist with IHS Requests, Care Plans and Projection.
7. Updates and maintains clients file in a timely fashion.
8. Attend outside pertinent meetings and events.
9. Plan in-services for employees and other special events.
10. Maintain record of employees’ attendance at in-services and support groups and other special events.
11. Recruit and assign employees to work in the office, as needed.
12. Maintains accurate records on employees and client assignments, as required.
13. Completes Online Relias Training, annually.
14. Maintains a regular flow of correspondence, notices, and verbal contact with all employees.
15. Adheres to the practice of confidentiality regarding patients, families, staff, and the organization.
16. Participates in required in-service programs to meet compliance requirements. Identifies learning needs to agency supervisor.
17. Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Expectations:
Within 30 days of employment, and Annually
- a. Attend Orientation of Title III, and Title VII Aging Programs
- b. Bureau of Adult Protective Services (BAPS)
- c. Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Project present by DPHSS, DSC personnel and annually within the first month of each fiscal year.
- d. Complete Skills and Competences training provided by HSP Nurse Educator
- e. Completes all Relias Training
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.72 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
