Description :

Position Description : Looking for a Project Control opportunity at a place you can make a difference every day? Discover this great opportunity in our Middletown, RI location.
Serco is seeking a Project Control Specialist who will handle full lifecycle program finances for our Software Integration portfolio and monitor monthly charging with financial analysts to identify trends, issues, and funding utilization to ensure charging is accurate and within program budgets at our office in Middletown, RI.
In this role, you will:

• Work with program team and finance to correct any timesheet issues or incorrect charging
• Work with finance team to generate financial reports to support internal and external program management reviews, CDRL requirements, and invoicing
• Review invoices, WAWF submission, and eCraft reports for accuracy prior to submission to customer.
• Work with Program Manager and finance to correct any discrepancies
• Work with financial analyst to determine the available funds for de-obligation at the end of the period of performance on the contract and ensure submission to customer as soon as possible.
• Support the program manager and finance team with the development of yearly spend plans submitted to the customer
• Work with Program Manager to establish ETCs and monitor the EAC workbook for accuracy
• Work with procurement, finance, and Program Manager to generate accurate purchase requisitions, request inputs from subcontractors, and monitor subcontractor spend and performance
• Support financial analyst with any programmatic questions or inputs to ensure timely generation of the program financial requirements

Qualifications: To be successful in this role you will have:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
• A High School Diploma/GED
• United States Citizenship
• 7 years of experience (Experience in Project Control Highly Preferred)
• Must be versed in various contract vehicles, i.e., CPAF, CPFF, LOE, FPLOE, FFP, T&M, IDIQs, etc.
• Knowledge of general and corporate business practices, government contracting regulations and principles, and accounting and finance principles
• Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team with a focus on high professional standards, strong follow-up and successful project execution

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Preferred knowledge of FAR/DFAR, DCAA compliance and audits
