has an exciting opportunity in our Content Production Department for a Video Editor. In this role, you are responsible for creating compelling content and stories for use on ’s multiple platforms: television, web, mobile and corporate. Primarily at the general direction of the Supervising Editor, the role is responsible for craft and technical non-linear video and audio editing and graphics for content such as product demonstrations, lifestyle product demos, promos and corporate and digital content. The role requires a solid understanding of all aspects of video production and post.

The Editor utilizes creative and aesthetic judgment to edit accurate and compelling content including product demonstration sequences, Daily Special promotions, PR and Marketing videos, corporate videos, occasional Promo and Sting content and other multi-channel platform support
Participates in discussions and working sessions with a variety of decision makers and stakeholders including: Creatives, Category, Corporate
Creates graphic content in Adobe Premiere, After Effects or other graphics programs
Defines necessary elements to achieve project goals and communicates with other specialists such as post and live graphics
Manages media within projects in digital asset management systems. Ingests footage and manages necessary meta data enabling ease of content identification and recovery
Selects and edits appropriate music with input from stakeholders
Records, edits and directs voice-over sessions
Transcodes content in-line with a project’s requested deliverables
What You Bring
** To be considered, you must provide a link to, or attachment, to your demo reel demonstrating your experience in creative storytelling via video editing.**
Undergraduate degree in TV/Film or related field
2 years of video editing utilizing Adobe Premiere, After Effects and other related software to create content for broadcast, on-line and corporate needs
Experience with other aspects of video production including, audio recording/mixing and color correction
Knowledge of video codecs, some compositing, transcoding, and overall video formatting for web, television, and mobile devices
Knowledge of Das, drives, mixers, decks and routers
Knowledge of audio editing software including ProTools
