In this position you will both interact with and provide services to American Indian members of our community; and manage a PHN in Del Norte County and a team of Community Health Representatives that provide additional support services to our clients.

Compensation range: $97k-$110k. Relocation assistance is available.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Educational degrees must be from a US Department of Education accredited school.

  • Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university in public health nursing; and fifth-year college or university program certificate; and
  • Two to four years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) preferred and an additional two years of community health experience, and supervisory experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Your valid PHN/RN license does not have to be from the State of California.
  • Experience working within the American Indian community preferred.

We are a comprehensive tribal health program serving the American Indian population of Humboldt and Del Norte counties providing primary care, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, vision and community outreach services. We serve a population of about 12,000 through our network of 7 facilities. Our largest facility is here at out Potawot Health Village in Arcata, CA.
