Nationwide Children’s Hospital. A Place to Be Proud. Responsibilities:
- Implement behavioral intervention in the home, school, or community of client.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings for clients.
- Attend all required staff meetings, trainings, and seminars.
- Implement all procedures delineated by the Senior Behavioral Intervention Aide, Case Supervisor, Clinical Supervisor, and Psychologist.
- Collect data related to all therapy activities as directed.
- Complete all administrative paperwork according to specifications provided.
- Seek and accept feedback.
- Be prompt and dependable, and make proper notifications in case of scheduling problems.
- Maintain appropriate relationships with client and client’s family and other professionals.
- Provide age-specific and disorder-specific care.
- Protect child’s rights to confidentiality.
- Demonstrate appropriate team work.
- Demonstrate organizational skills.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of psychology (preferred), special education, speech/language, or other related field.
- Reliable transportation and car insurance required to deliver care to clients at home or in the community.
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to lift child up to 40 pounds and manage physical resistance from child up to age 14.
- Constantly must hear, see, speak, and be physically mobile.
- Demonstrate ability to pass safety requirements as set by department.
