Role Overview:

The Warehouse workers play a critical role in the efficient operation of a warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving and Unloading:

• Receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices, and unloading goods from trucks or containers.

2. Inspecting and Storing:

• Inspecting goods for damage, recording discrepancies or damages, and safely storing goods in designated locations within the warehouse.

3. Picking and Packing:

• Selecting items from shelves or bins based on order requirements, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment.

4. Inventory Management:

• Performing regular inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory records using computerized systems.

5. Order Processing:

• Processing customer orders, picking items from inventory, and preparing them for shipment according to customer specifications.

6. Shipping and Loading:

• Packing goods into containers or onto pallets, preparing shipping documents, and loading shipments onto trucks or other transportation vehicles.

7. Equipment Operation:

• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move, lift, or transport goods within the warehouse.

8. Safety and Compliance:

• Adhering to safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Following company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.

9. Housekeeping:

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, including keeping aisles clear and disposing of packaging materials properly.

10. Communication:

• Communicating effectively with team memb4rs, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate activities and resolve issues.

11. Miscellaneous Duties:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics is advantageous.
• Preferably, prior experience in a fulfillment or distribution center role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and operations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Capability to lift/move 20-40 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Basic skills in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), data entry, mathematics, and reading.
• Minimum of 1+ years of warehouse experience.
• Pay: $18.00-$19.00/hour
