We're affiliated with UCSF as a teaching facility; trained 3,000 Medical Doctor's to date plus continuous invests in research and training grants. Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of the surgery schedule including coordination with surgeons and use of software. Works closely with physicians in the Department of Anesthesia to coordinate and communicate anesthesiologist assignments. Prepares and distributes the surgery schedule. Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent. Completion of college level course-work in business or administrative sciences. Experience as a Scheduling Clerk in an acute care hospital. Flexible and adaptable to the working environment. Familiarity with surgical procedures. Proven knowledge of Medical Terminology obtained from previous work experience or class.
