Position Highlights
This position is an integral member of the Dean's Office business office. Examples of duties are: documenting and tracking budgets, processing large volume of budget transactions, assisting in detailed personnel planning, updating budgets as personnel funding changes, reconciling budget detail in financial and planning systems. This position will serve as a resource for financial matters to other members of the Finance Team as well as others throughout the Dean's Office.
This is a 3-month temp position to help with the peak budget transactions season.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Process high volume of budget transactions so each department account budget in KFS is loaded correctly according to the approved spending authority.
- Assist in reconciliation of the college-level budget allocations and the consolidated internal budget detail.
- Assist with detailed personnel planning.
- Utilize multiple enterprise administrative systems (Financial, Budget & Planning, HR) to analyze, reconcile, and confirm accuracy of data.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Knowledge of University of Arizona business and financial policies and procedures.
- Knowledge and/or experience with managing large data sets.
- Broad knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to use University of Arizona and budgetary, financial, personnel, and analytics systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate financial matters to individuals and widely varying financial knowledge and experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
