GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Atlas AegisLLC is currently accepting applications for the role of Armed Security Officers at one of our Gallatin based manufacturing facilities. This position is for full-time Night and PM shifts, as well as weekend part-time positions that could transition into full time. The successful candidates will greet and properly direct visitors, identify and report incidents, screen personnel, and will be responsible for the security and safety of our client's personnel and property. The Armed Security Officer will periodically tour the assigned facility to identify irregularities, observe protection and fire control equipment, uphold order and enforce security regulations for the facility in regards to the premises, personnel, and visitors.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.

Provide excellent customer service.

Adhere to all company service and operating standards.

Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers.

Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.

Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, and traffic control.

Adhere to the Post orders manual and other site-specific regulations for the assignment.

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Arrive for work on time and with the proper equipment.

Appearance must be neat and clean.

Have a courteous and helpful demeanor at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

High school diploma/GED required

Minimum 2 years Experience Armed Security

Military Veterans Preferred

State of Tennessee Armed Guard Certification

Experience:

2+ years' experience in the security field or equivalent military experience.

Proven history of working well in stressful situations

Other:

Armed Guard License from the State of Tennessee

21+ years of age

High School Diploma or GED required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Capable of following complex instructions

Strong interpersonal skills

Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation

Knowledge of security operations and procedures.

Military, Police, and first responder experience is a plus. *

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Long periods of standing or sitting may be required for this position.

Long periods of time outdoors may be required during periods of inclement weather. i.e. rain, snow, hot or cold weather, etc.

The candidate may be required to pass a physical examination by a licensed physician.

Work Schedule may require 12 hours or more on shift.
