$0.00 - $0.00 Overview The Civil Engineer’s primary duty is to execute and engineer the Civil Engineering aspects of various construction projects, from site identification to finish, ensuring that studies, designs and layouts are timely and accurately. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. This position is located in our Angleton, Texas office. NOTE: This is an in-office opportunity only - hybrid or remote options are not available.

  • Provides leadership in initial planning stage by collaborating with clients, architects. local and state governments, or other involved parties; develops detailed description of work necessary to complete project.
  • Schedules and coordinates projects in logical steps and budgets the time necessary to meet each deadline.
  • Leads and participates in the design and planning of assigned structures, facilities, and systems.
  • Inspects completed work for adherence to standards and designs
  • Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite and that all safety codes are met in construction.
  • Oversees contract negotiations, revisions, and additions and adherence by all parties.
  • Collaborates with clients, supervisory staff, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve problems, including work procedures, complaints, and construction or design issues.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with a variety of people, including owners, managers, designers, supervisors, local authorities and subcontract engineers.
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
  • Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
The position requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
  • Licensed P.E. or EIT (Civil) required
  • 2+ years of Civil Engineering experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
