Rebuilding Alliance Recruitment 2020

Description :

Do you love writing thank you notes, and getting to know donors? Do you have experience with the Saleforce CRM or would you like to learn how to use Salesforce?

Rebuilding Alliance seeks to hire a detail-oriented Gratitude Team Coordinator in the Redwood City, CA area for a part-time position, working from home.

Attention to detail is one important part of this position as you will use a laptop to process copies of donation checks into our Salesforce CRM, and then print, and collate receipts, thank you notes, and envelopes, dropping them off at the Executive Director's home office for signature and mailing.

Your goal will be to assure that within two days of arrival of any donation — online or via postal mail — the donation is entered into Salesforce.com and the thank you note and tax receipt is sent to each donor. This is a big goal. To reach this goal, you will work with the Executive Director to learn how to process donations and possibly also assist with recruiting staff and volunteers to join the Gratitude Team and teach them how to process donations. You will also assist with the ‘data cleaning’ project to assure that RA has the correct contact information for each donor, without duplicates.

Rebuilding Alliance is a U.S. nonprofit focused on equal rights for Palestinians with projects that include direct aid (eg. distribution of hot meals and solar lanterns in Gaza, COVID-19 relief in the West Bank and Gaza) and advocacy. Right now we're holding Congressional briefings to save the Palestinian Olive Harvest (we've held 41 Contact Congress briefings in this month so far).

You will be a key part of Rebuilding Alliance's team, getting to know our donors through your interactions with them, and working with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors too, requesting them to write messages on the thank you notes. You'll join our weekly team meetings via Zoom, to get a good sense of our various projects and you'll use your writing skills to draft a new thank you note template each month.
